- Host a Christmas Gathering
Follow our How to’s and see just how easy it is to host a gathering during the Christmas season. Share a plate of cookies and tea to provide a warm atmosphere for relationships to grow. The purpose of hosting a gathering is to get to know your neighbors and build meaningful connections. You may even want to gauge interest in starting a Bible study. What a fun way to gather neighbors to begin getting to know them and build community. Hospitality is not about the way our homes look or the kind of food we serve. Building community is all about welcoming and serving our neighbors according to their needs. Whether we give neighbors a seat at our dinner tables or stand around a kitchen with one another, we allow a safe place to share life. As we create this environment, it will be a place where neighbors will want to do the same for others, and hospitality becomes a part of the atmosphere of the neighborhood.
